As the bombing continues in Afghanistan and the “War on Terrorism” wages on, a battle has been brewing within the Bush Administration as to how to procede. The more hawkish elements of the Defense Department want to expand the war beyond Afghanistan to include Iraq and other targets. We examine the arguments on both sides and discuss which department is likely to get its way.

Guests:

Michael O’Hanlon, Senior Fellow and Foreign Policy Studies at the Brookings Institution;
Richard Perle, Deputy Defense Secretary under Reagan;
Paul Rodgers, author of “Losing Control: Global Security in the 21st Century”
