Jimmy Breslin

For decades, Pulitzer Prize-winning columnist Jimmy Breslin has chronicled the daily life of the average Joe and used his pen to give voice to those forgotten. His new book tells the story of a 21-year old Mexican immigrant who came to this country hoping for a better life and left in a body bag.

Breslin details the search for the American dream with all its glory and despair and poses troubling questions about immigration policy and political corruption in America.

In a country that depends on cheap labor, how do we value the lives of our workers?
