New music and Hollywood

From Hip-hop to swing music to rock and roll, from surfer culture to the break-dance scene, Hollywood has always been on top of new music. Movies like Blackboard Jungle, The Harder They Come, and Saturday Night Fever took music at that time underground into the mainstream. We look at movies that responded to new music.
