4th Graders React to Iraq

With all the media coverage of the war in Iraq, even children know a lot about Saddam and Basra and weapons of mass destruction.

Teacher Paul Tamburello says his 4th graders have a remarkable understanding of events on the other side of the world. But at the same time, he says, they have the ability to forget about the war and just be kids.

In this radio diary, Paul Tamburello takes us inside his fourth-grade classroom’s discussion of the war in Iraq:
