Trouble in Mosul

Yesterday U.S. Special Forces found themselves in the middle of a violent mob armed with assault rifles and heavy machine guns. Unconfirmed reports cited at least 10 people killed in the exchange of fire. The Boston Globe’s David Filipov, who was in Mosul today, reports on the underlying tension in the city behind the recent violence.
