Summit at Sharm: Bush, Arab leaders Talk Israeli-Palestinian Peace

President George W. Bush met with Arab leaders today in the Red Sea resort of Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt to discuss the Israeli-Palestinian road map to peace. The summit is part of the president’s first trip during his presidency to the Middle East and represents his biggest step yet to end the violence and put the two peoples back on the peace track.

A close look at the outcome of the talks, and a look ahead to tomorrow’s meeting between Bush, Israeli Prime Minister Ariel Sharon, and Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas in Aqaba, Jordan.
