A Teacher Bids Farewell

For weeks now, American children have been heading back to school. For Brookline, Massachusetts, 4th grade teacher Paul Tamburello, the first day of school is tomorrow, and it will be bittersweet: It will mark the beginning of the final year of a long teaching career. In this radio diary, Paul Tamburello reflects on preparing to say good-bye after 34 years in the classroom.
