The United States, Spain, and Great Britain introduced a revised Iraq resolution to the U.N. Security Council today. The newest version, which seeks increased troop and monetary support for rebuilding efforts, is a responds to Council members’ criticisms of previous US-backed plans. The debate within the Security Council comes before a meeting of donors for Iraqi reuilding efforts begins in Madrid next week.
