Bush’s New Immigration Policy

President Bush today outlines a new set of rule to help illegal immigrants work legally in the US. Bush has his eyes on an upcoming trip to Mexico and the burgeoning Latino electorate. But will Washington warm to the President’s plan? We look at the proposal, its impact on illegal — and legal — immigrants, and the White House push for amnesty.
