The much anticipated Hutton report was released today, and it exonerates prime minister Tony Blair on charges of lying to the British parliament about the threat of weapons of mass destruction from Iraq. Former chief American weapons inspector David Kay also testified before a Senate Committee today, saying that poor intelligence gathering was responsible for the belief that Iraq had weapons of mass destruction.
