Richard Cohen is a professional storyteller. A senior producer for CBS and CNN, he traveled the world to tell other peoples’ stories. He was brash, a golden boy on the fast track. He carried a big secret.
At age 25, he was diagnosed with MS and plunged into a vortex of despair and uncertainty. Along with his health challenges, he faced the moral challenges of how much, if anything, to tell employers and family about his illness.
