John F. Kerry has struggled to gain ground in the polls, despite new questions about President Bush’s leadership on Iraq. Voters just don’t know that much about the Democratic candidate’s views, even when they join him in his rallying cry, “Bring it on.”

In their new book, “John F. Kerry: The Complete Biography by the Boston Globe Reporters Who Know Him Best,” the authors pry into the background of the candidate, look at the war hero, the anti-war crusader, and the man of a thousand opinions.

Click the “Listen” link to hear a conversation with Brian Mooney, reporter and political columnist for the Boston Globe, and Nina Easton, deputy chief of the Boston Globe’s Washington Bureau, who co-authored the new biography of John F. Kerry.

Guests:
