Global Warming in the 21st Century
photo

For three years, journalist and author Mark Lynas traveled to Peru, Mongolia and South Pacific Islands to document first-person stories of people living with the global climate crisis. From the South Pacific to Alaska, livelihoods and lives are being forever changed.

They may not be apocalypse-scale disasters, but the first-hand accounts in Mark Lynas’s new book “High Tide” are all true and happening now. The signs are striking: rising sea levels, expanding deserts, vanishing tundras. But will political and business leaders respond with the right environmental policies to correct it? Mark Lynas says they must.
