photo

From London rooftops with German bombers blitzing the city, CBS radio reporter Edward R. Murrow held America riveted with his live reports of World War II unfolding and his crackling dateline: “This – is London.” From his wartime reports through McCarthyism and the Cold War, Edward R. Click the “Listen” link to hear veteran NPR “Morning Edition” host Bob Edwards talk about the father of broadcast journalism, Edward R. Morrow, and the stories he told in his time and might have told about ours.
