Presidential hopeful John Kerry picked fellow senator and primary rival John Edwards as his running mate today, ending months of speculation.
Republicans call him too inexperienced, but the Kerry camp is counting on John Edwards’ sunny appeal to help energize the campaign. Republicans think Edwards’ career as a trial lawyer is a negative, but Kerry’s team believes that experience will help him win over the jury of public opinion.
