Pulitzer Prize-winning New York Times columnist Maureen Dowd writes about America’s first family, the Bushes, with what some would call a poison pen. Americans are living in Bushworld, she says: “It’s their reality. We just live and die in it.”
As a former White House correspondent in the first Bush administration, Dowd reported on Bush Senior, or 41 as she calls him, with a keen eye for detail. Now in her attack-dog columns her criticism has been scathing enough to prompt Bush Junior to call her the “Cobra”.
Tune in to hear columnist Maureen Dowd discuss her new book, “Bushworld: Enter at Your Own Risk”.
