In what his aides are calling his most important economic address of the campaign, Democratic Presidential nominee John Kerry lashed out at President Bush’s economic record today and accused the Bush of presiding over an “excuse Presidency.”

In a focused, sharply-worded speech, Kerry said the president must accept responsibility for the loss of jobs that has occurred on his watch and stop blaming outside factors. “President Bush’s desk isn’t where the buck stops,” the Senator told the Detroit Economic Club. “It’s where the blame begins.”
