With nearly every national poll showing the two candidates in a statistical dead heat, George W. Bush and John Kerry spent much of the day today prepping for tomorrow night’s final debate. The 90-minute tussle in Arizona will be the final time that the candidates will have a nationally-televised platform from which to reach out to the electorate.
President Bush spoke today at campaign rallies in Colorado Springs and Paradise Valley, Arizona. Senator Kerry spent the day preparing in seclusion, though Kerry did speak on the stump in Santa Fe, New Mexico yesterday.
Hear excerpts from both candidates’ speeches as they focus on domestic issues, the topic of the final debate.
