
Iowa took center stage today, as George Bush and John Kerry spent much of the day courting the Hawkeye State and its 7 electoral votes. Kerry tore into the President in Waterloo, saying the war in Iraq was a diversion from the war on terror and has left the United States with two wars to fight. Bush blasted away in Mason City, saying his opponent has a “fundamental misunderstanding” of the war in Iraq.
