
A devastating blast tore through a lunch hour mess tent at the American military camp near Mosul today in Iraq. At least 22 people were killed. Late today, a military spokesman said 19 of the dead were U.S. troops. If that number is correct, it would mark the bloodiest single attack on the American military since the invasion of Iraq began
