The End of All Religions ?
photo

Is religion “ignorance with wings?” That’s what author Sam Harris claims in his new book, “The End of Faith.” He sets out to close the door on organized religion and argues for a world without Christianity, Islam or Judaism.

As religious wars and faith-based politics heat up around the world, Harris writes that text-based faiths are responsible for the problems. He says it’s time for God, Jesus and Muhammed to go the way of Zeus.

Tune in to hear Harris and prominent theologian Dr. Martin Marty talk about the impact and future of religion.

Guests:

Sam Harris, author of “The End of Faith

Martin Marty, professor emeritus, University of Chicago

Jack Beatty, On Point news analyst and senior editor for The Atlantic Monthly.
