
European space probe Huygens has landed on the surface of Saturn’s moon Titan after a seven-year journey, a space official said today.
Just hours ago, the probe Huygens sent back the first-ever pictures of Saturn’s biggest moon Titan. Scientists hope their new data from Titan will shed light on the origins of life here on earth.
Guy Gugliotta is space correspondent for The Washington Post. He was at European Space Agency’s mission control in Darmstadt, Germany as the first images came in and talks about what we have learned from the pictures so far.
