1) North Korea announces it possesses nuclear weapons and pulls out of multilateral negotiations, demanding one-on-one talks with the U.S.

2) Israel’s Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas declare a ceasefire.

3) President Bush unveils his $2.58 trillion budget. It comes under immediate attack from Democrats, including South Carolina Congressman John Spratt, ranking Democrat on the House Budget Committee.

4) The House passes a tough new set of immigration reforms.

5) One of the country’s top female business leaders, Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina, is forced out of her job.

6) And England’s heir-to-the-throne Prince Charles announces he will marry longtime love Camilla Parker-Bowles.
