Anxiety Over Lebanon’s Future

Lebanese-American Rima Arnaout has visited Lebanon several times since the end of the civil war that racked the country for decades.

Now, Rima worries that the February 14th, 2005 assassination of Prime Minister Rafik Hariri and the protests that have followed could lead to the type of violent unrest that kept her away from Lebanon for most of her childhood.

In this radio diary, Rima Arnout talks of her hopes that democracy, and not chaos, is coming to Lebanon.
