Terry McMillan’s Groove
photo

With her breakout novel “Waiting to Exhale,” Terry McMillan introduced us to four black professional women waiting for Mr. Right. Then there was 42-year-old Stella who got her groove back in Jamaica with a young stud half her age.

For millions of readers, Terry McMillan hits a nerve with her startlingly accurate portrayals of love. Her protagonists navigate their way through marriage and menopause, motherhood and divorce with a stubborn will to survive.

Her latest novel, “The Interruption of Everything,” finds her heroine — a middle-aged mother of four looking for redemption in a 23-year marriage gone flat. Now, McMillan herself is going through a divorce which has become very public.

Tune in to hear a conversation with best-selling author Terry McMillan.

Guests:

Terry McMillan, best-selling author of five novels, including “Waiting to Exhale” and “How Stella Got Her Groove Back”. Her new novel is “The Interruption of Everything”.
