Evangelical Comedian Brad Stine
photo

By Host Tom Ashbrook:

Comedian Brad Stine was nine-years-old when he became a born-again Christian. He was almost forty when his comedy career had its “come to Jesus” moment.

After years in the mainstream business, doing magic routines and “nose floss” jokes, Stine’s career was floundering. After a club gig, he sat with a lesbian comic who told him he needed a hook. Hers was being gay. Maybe his could be being Christian.

Stine walked through that door, and into a booming alternate universe of huge evangelical audiences, big money, and fundamentalist acclaim. He rants and preaches — it’s not all sweet Jesus — and he’s on a roll.

Hear the world according to born- again Christian comic Brad Stine.

Guests:

Brad Stine, Evangelical Christian and stand up comedian.
