
The fate of Jill Carroll, a freelance reporter for the Christian Science Monitor, hangs in the balance today. Carroll was kidnapped on January 7th in Baghdad. A brief video of her was released Tuesday. Her kidnappers, reportedly the so-called “Brigade of Revenge,” say they will kill her tomorrow — Friday — unless U.S. military authorities release all Iraqi women in their custody.
