Novelist Alice Greenway grew up in Hong Kong while her father, news correspondent H.D.S Greenway, covered the Vietnam War for Time magazine and the Washington Post.
Now, as a new generation of reporters covers the Iraq war, Alice Greenway has drawn on her childhood experience in a novel of coming of age in wartime. The book is called “White Ghost Girls.”
