Last Thursday we invited Eric Reeves, who has been called the world’s most influential activist on Darfur, on our show to talk about his campaign to shame China over its business ties to Sudan by labeling the 2008 Olympics the Genocide Olympics.
Today, on the front page of the New York Times, is an article titled, “Darfur Collides with Olympics, And China Yields.”
So we asked Eric Reeves to join us again for the latest on his campaign.
Guests:
Eric Reeves, Professor of English at Smith College. He has spent eight years working as an independent Sudan researcher and analyst. His forthcoming book is “A Long Day’s Dying: Critical Moments in the Darfur Genocide.”
