Carl Bernstein’s Biography of Hillary Rodham Clinton
photo

By Tom Ashbrook.

Carl Bernstein was half the investigative reporting team of Woodward and Bernstein that brought down a president in the Watergate scandal.

Hillary Clinton was half the team of Clinton and Clinton that dominated the White House in the 1990’s.

Now, Bernstein is out with his big biography of Senator Clinton, through childhood, young love, “bimbo eruptions”, White House trials, Bill’s impeachment battle and her own remarkable ascent to the Senate.

Hillary’s camp calls it “rehash”. But he’s Bernstein, and she could be the next president of the United States.

This hour On Point: Carl Bernstein and “A Woman in Charge.”

Guests:

Carl Bernstein, journalist and author. He won a Pulitzer Prize for his coverage of the Watergate scandal for the Washington Post. His new book is “A Woman in Charge.”
