Rich and Ruthless
photo

It always seems like the way up and out of trouble: Money. Big money.

High prices got you down? High gas? No security? Get rich. And lately it can look so tidy — Google founders soaring to billions on a great idea and a pledge to do no evil.

Then, out of the mists like an old pirate ship, comes an old-school, up-by-the-bootstraps rich guy to tell you there’s nothing tidy about it. That it’s hand-to-hand combat that may cost your soul.

Felix Dennis — founder of Maxim magazine — is rich. He says you’ve got to be ruthless. And he’s all for it.

This hour, On Point: Rich and ruthless. We test the theory.

- Tom Ashbrook

Guest:

Felix Dennis, founder of Maxim magazine, author of the new book “How to Get Rich: One of the World’s Greatest Entrepreneurs Shares His Secrets.”
