  • It was a real pleasure listen to this On Point progam again. This is one the all-time best interviews I have ever heard. Thank you Tom Ashbrook and to the entire On Point production crew.

  • I agree, this one is a gem and I particularly loved that Ramone bowed to Tom Dowd, Atlantic’s genius engineer.

Any chance of putting this show in the current lineup of podcasts? I’d like to have it on my iPod but it’s so old there’s no way to get it.

  • Great show. Phil was such a regular guy that got some great breaks and opportunities. Hearing a little of what goes into producing/recording was fascinating. I am sending this show to my youngest son who plays piano and loves computers and composing on them.

  • Very glad to see to the response to this show.

Unfortunately, this one won’t be podcasted, only streamed. Like many of our music-heavy shows, there are copyright issues with podcasting.
