Eileen Imada

Eileen Imada came to WBUR in September 2001 as a producer for Special Coverage after 9/11, which then became “On Point.”

Prior to that she was a producer for the public affairs show “One Union Station” at WRNI in Rhode Island.

Eileen has B.A. in chemistry from The College of Wooster in Ohio and a M.A. in science journalism from Boston University.

She now directs for “On Point.” She has traveled with the show to New Orleans and most recently to Shanghai.

When she’s not in the studio, you can find her biking the backroads of Maine or on her daily commute into Boston.
