Music and Memories: Almost one-year ago now, the nation mourned as Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl was abducted and killed by terrorists in Karachi, Pakistan. Last weekend in Boston, family, friends, colleagues and musicians honored Pearl in a concert called "Universal Language: A Musical Tribute to Daniel Pearl". Tonight we share with you excerpts of that performance and talk with those who knew and were touched by the good-natured, fiddle playing, and music loving journalist.

Musicians, Cosmic Jack, Mark Simos, Liz Carroll, Bryan Gruley, Mark O'Connor, and the Matt Glazer and The Wayfaring Strangers with special guest Jennifer Kimball

Interviews, Todd Mack of Cosmic Jack

Michelle Pearl, Daniel Pearl's sister and vice-president of the Daniel Pearl Foundation

Bryan Gruely, songwriter, guitarist and editor and reporter for the Wall Street Journal

Larry Ingrassia, Wall Street Journal's Money and Investing section editor and Danny Pearl's former boss
