Music and Memories: Almost one-year ago now, the nation mourned as Wall Street Journal reporter Daniel Pearl was abducted and killed by terrorists in Karachi, Pakistan. Last weekend in Boston, family, friends, colleagues and musicians honored Pearl in a concert called "Universal Language: A Musical Tribute to Daniel Pearl". Tonight we share with you excerpts of that performance and talk with those who knew and were touched by the good-natured, fiddle playing, and music loving journalist. |
