The Next Prime Minister

Palestinian Prime Minister Mahmoud Abbas resigned Saturday, saying he could not make progress without more support. Yasser Arafat nominated Ahmed Qurei to take his place. But Qurei may be put in the same impossible position Abbas was in. Harvey Morris, Jerusalem bureau chief for the Financial Times, reports on the latest reaction in Israel to the Palestinian power shuffle.
