More than 2,600 soldiers have been wounded in action in Iraq, according to the Department of Defense. But the numbers fail to fully convey the devastation of war. Photographer Nina Berman traveled across the country interviewing and photographing wounded soldiers recently returned from Iraq. In this radio diary, she talks about the soldiers she photographed, their injuries, and their lives after war.
