It’s graduation season. In the coming weeks we’ll be airing excerpts from notable commencement speeches from around the country. Today, we take you to Davie, Florida. Salman Rushdie delivered the commencement address at Nova Southeastern University. The celebrated novelist, and author “The Satanic Verses” and “Shalimar the Clown”, reminded graduates that a successful life often times means leading an unconventional life.
