Change of Guard at the UN

North Korea’s nuclear test overshadowed other news from the Korean Peninsula yesterday.

Also yesterday, the UN Security Council nominated South Korean Foreign Minister Ban Ki-Moon to succeed Kofi Annan as the next U.N. Secretary-General.
