Yesterday, New York Governor Eliot Spitzer, who swept into office as a crime-busting crusader, was implicated as a client of a high-end prostitution ring.
After the New York Times broke the story, Spitzer made a terse statement to the press: “I’ve acted in a way that violates my obligations to my family and that violates my, or any, sense of right and wrong. ”
